The conveyors are designed for moving all sorts of building materials. With the appropriate PVC belt, they can handle dry bulk materials, wet mortar, concrete and stony materials. Optional reinforced PVC belts with higher tensile strength are available for more demanding applications.
Each belt conveyor is supplied with a standard aluminium feeder, a PVC belt with 10 mm carriers and an undercarriage with two wheels that clicks on and off. It also includes a protective motor switch with thermal circuit breaker and a self-adjusting safety relay with starting and operating capacitor.
A maximum of three SoRoTo belt conveyors may be interconnected using the supplied power outlet. Each conveyor must be connected to a 220–240 V power supply as specified in the technical data. The mounted motor switch includes an O-discharger that stops the machine safely in case of power failure.
Before and after use, check that the motor and back rollers are clean, the PVC belt runs freely and straight, and that side battens and belt have no damage. Clean the belt regularly, for example with a pressure washer, and remove any stones or debris from the rollers and scraper. Electrical parts must never be exposed to water.
To move the conveyor, attach the undercarriage approximately in the middle of the frame and lift at the end, ensuring it is balanced. Optional accessories include a larger feeder for wheelbarrow loading, PVC belts without carriers, belts with 30 mm carriers, reinforced belts, motors for extremely cold temperatures, truck pockets and a feed hopper for wheelbarrows.
